Compatibility

Our Multi-Volt Apollo E-ballast is designed to strike both Metal Halide (MH) and High Pressure Sodium (HPS) bulbs through either 120v or 240v, simply by switching the power chords. Make sure to disconnect the power source of your ballast before switching bulbs. We recommend using the specified bulb wattage with the correct ballast wattage.

Dimmable Lighting Option

The Apollo E-Ballast offers the much sought after function of a dimming switch enabling you to operate the ballast at the intensity you wish. Some benefits of the dimmable ballast include controlling your power usage to minimize energy costs over the grow cycle of your crops. This helps young plants adjust to high intensity discharge lamps, eliminates chances of scaring, provides instant heat and lumen control, reduces additional AC cooling, and temporarily reduces heat in grow area to allow for a pleasant working environment.

Radio Frequency Protection

All Apollo E-ballast are manufactured with interior heat and radio frequency shielding so critical internal components are systematically protected. This will ensure longer operating life and minimize electromagnetic interference from the unit itself. Our ballasts conform to all international electromagnetic emission standards. In addition, our new generation of ballasts are designed with a resin covered circuit board equipped with a sealed cooling fan. This additional improvement provides a unit that runs 15% cooler than its competitors in the digital ballasts market.

Improved Power and Safety

The Apollo E-ballasts provides fast lamp ignition. This ensure that the bulbs light up to their full intensity in the shortest amount of time possible, while simultaneously producing constant lamp voltage so that they stay flicker free throught operation. Our engineers designed a replaceable outset fuse by the input terminal to maximize safety; permitting automatic power shut off in the event of a short.
